Hi Michael and Chug,
the second link you have showen is only for Common Rail's that have an own, mechanikal driven, trenfes pump. The fist link is only the computer and has not much to do with the kind of conversion.
All engines with direkt Injetion do not burn the ppo well at idle, it makes no difference between the tdi, PD or CR, the CR has other problems like it needs realy clean fuel an a high pressure before the fuel comes into the pump (so in needs a fuel transfer pump that makes enougt pressure and enoug l/h and that with ppo). The running on diesel in idle is much more important if you have a truck, tracktor oder combine. With a car it ist not that much important as you can see at that much cars that drive without the idle-circuit ind germany.
I've made a new homepage with a bit info's in english (we only do trucks and traktors), my ohter pag with a lot af info's is'nt translatet but maybe you watch it with a translationprogramm (www.oelmuehle-zerbst.de)
Wolf does very good one-tank system conversions, but it expensive. We have some Common Rail, Pumpe Düse, Pumpe-Pipe-Düse (Pump-Leitung-Düse), and Systems with the Bosch VP44 working on PPO since a long time, these systems are more difficult, but if you do it correct it works very well.
