no you can use ppo but it is usually taxed at the same rate as pump diesel (48.35 pence per litre) so there is no financial incentive to use it, FAME biodiesel gets a 20 pence per litre reduction, some people have managed to convince their local tax office to let them pay the reduced 20p rate.
