I was sad to see this announcement. I only recently discovered Entropy and was pleased to see how well it worked and was looking forward to getting more involved in its development. My day job is that of a Computer Science Lecturer, and, though my primary field has thusfar been HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), crypto has also been of interest to me. If it is needed, I would be willing to take over as primary developer/maintainer for the Entropy codebase. I have run free projects before and, though I don't welcome the extra work I'd be taking on, would be happy to do this to help this great community preserve what small amount of freedom is left in this country (I am an American) and others.

If it comes to this, I can't say the transition wouldn't be bumpy. It would be a while before forward progress is again made with Entropy as I familiarize myself with the codebase. However, if no one else who feels qualified wants the job, I'll take it. It may, however, be impossible for me, due to my country's Nazi laws on crypto export, so some research would be required.

What do you all think?

P.S. I don't speak German, just English and a bit of Spanish.
